It was only meant to be a couple of days. Normal is generally self-sufficient, it knows the routine, it has never needed much looking after before and it has certainly never needed a schedule. Somebody has been drawing on the walls. Somebody has been counting something. The hyena is new and nobody is prepared to say where it came from or how long it has been in the house.
Everything is under control, in the sense that nothing has gotten worse today.
