It is kept properly. The fluid gets changed on a schedule, the seal is checked, and the jar goes wherever he goes because leaving it somewhere turned out to feel worse than carrying it. He could not tell you when the switch happened. There was no particular day. There was a stretch of time where things were one way and then a much longer stretch where they were not, and somewhere in the middle of that it came out and went into the jar.
He was nicer then. Everyone says so.
