Questions

asked, frequently.

answered once, here, so we can stop.

the shirts

Is the art AI?

The images are made with AI tools and art-directed, argued with, rejected and redone by one person until they are right. The jokes, the titles, the copy and the blog are written by humans. We do not hide the tools and we do not let them drive.

Why is everything black?

Because the designs are built for a black field. Every one of them fades into it at the edges on purpose. A light shirt would print the field as a visible slab. So, black.

What is the difference between Relaxed and Regular?

Same width across the chest. Relaxed is heavier cotton, garment dyed so the black is a touch softer, boxier, and about an inch and a half shorter. Regular is lighter, a flat true black, longer and leaner. The size guide draws them side by side.

Which size should I get?

Pick your usual size. If you are between sizes, Relaxed runs big, so size down for a closer fit. Every shirt page has a finder that takes a shirt you already own and tells you. The charts are the printer's own numbers, measured flat.

What sizes do you make?

Relaxed in S to 4XL. Regular in S to 3XL. 2XL and up cost a little more because the blanks do.

Will it shrink?

Cold wash, inside out, hang dry, and it stays the shirt you bought. Hot water and a hot dryer shrink cotton. That is the dryer's doing, not ours, and not covered.

How long does the print last?

It is printed into the fabric, not stuck on top. Treat it as above and do not iron the graphic. Looked after, it outlasts most of the relationships it will be worn to.

ordering and shipping

Where is it made?

Printed to order in the United States, one at a time, after you click the button. Nothing is held in stock and nothing is thrown away.

How long until it arrives?

1 to 3 business days to make it, then 2 to 7 in the mail. Plan on 3 to 10. Alaska, Hawaii and the territories take longer; the shipping page has the numbers.

What does shipping cost?

$5.95 on orders under $70. Free at $70 and over. Two shirts gets you there.

Do you ship outside the US?

Not yet. US addresses only for now.

How do I pay?

Cards and the usual wallets, through Stripe. We never see your card number and neither does anyone else here.

Can I change or cancel an order?

Email support@siccarrt.com the moment you realise. Once a shirt is in production it is yours, so speed matters more than politeness.

Do you have discount codes?

Not at the moment. The email list hears first when that changes, and about drops.

when something goes wrong

I ordered the wrong size.

T-shirts: $15 and we make you a new one in the right size, shipping included. Keep the first one. Email within 14 days of delivery, one swap per shirt. The returns page has the steps.

It arrived damaged, misprinted, or it is not what I ordered.

We fix it, free. Replacement or refund, your call. Email within 14 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the problem, the size tag, and the package if it was crushed in transit. Do not send it back.

It never showed up.

If nothing has arrived three weeks after you ordered, email us and we make another. If tracking says delivered and your hands are empty, check with neighbours and the mailroom first. Carriers call it a day early sometimes.

I changed my mind.

No returns or refunds for regret. It was made for you specifically. It is your burden now.

everything else

What is the tarot thing?

Intake. The office pulls three cards from your file and writes a finding. One sentence is redacted on the site; the email has the sentence. Once a day. No crystals.

Hoodies? Posters? Stickers?

Coming. Hoodies, crewnecks, wall art, mugs and sticker packs are in the works. The email list hears first.
