read it anyway. there are no takebacks on the wrong size.
pick your usual size. both fits are the same width. relaxed is shorter and boxier. regular is longer and leaner. that's the whole difference.

laid flat. across is armpit to armpit. long is the top of the shoulder to the hem. these are the printer's own numbers, so they are the ones that count.

manufacturing has a tolerance. relaxed can be off by up to 1½ in and regular by up to 1 in and still count as the right size. more than that, and it's on us. see returns.
how to measure
- A, across. lay a tee you like flat. measure straight across, armpit to armpit. this is the number that matters most.
- B, long. from the highest point of the shoulder, where it meets the collar, straight down to the hem.
- type both numbers into the finder above. it will tell you the closest size in each fit and exactly how it differs from your shirt.
between sizes?
go by the width. width is what makes a shirt feel wrong. then look at the length and decide if you want it longer (regular) or boxier (relaxed). still stuck? relaxed is forgiving. size down and it still hangs right.

- Comfort Colors 1717. 6.1 oz heavyweight cotton. Garment dyed, so the black is softer and slightly washed. Boxy, runs big. Size down for a closer fit. sizes S to 4XL.
- regular
- AS Colour 5001 Staple Tee. 5.3 oz mid-weight cotton. A flat, true black. Regular fit, true to size. sizes S to 3XL.
